Difficult DecisionsIf the diagnosis is considered terminal, or life limiting, you may be faced with making very difficult decisions, taking into consideration both the health of the mother and the baby. This can feel like an impossible web of choices with no satisfying outcome. Depending on the conversations with medical professionals and other trusted confidants, you may be facing a choice to "carry to term," or for as long as the baby and mother are comfortable in the pregnancy, or to disrupt the pregnancy with a "termination for medical reasons," or TFMR. Depending on the gestation of the pregnancy, parents have several options to end a pregnancy. |

The term termination itself brings with it a great deal of weight and grief. You do not have to walk this path alone.
